My web hosting company is now for sale.

The hosting company owns its own servers in colocation (2 x Racks and own data transit which will be out of contract at the end of November). My business would be perfect for an existing Brisbane/Gold Coast web host to buy.

Their are 3 individual brands which are available, however brand 3 is owned by brand 1's PTY LTD but can be split up if a buyer doesn't want it as they run separate billing systems.

Quick financial summary from WHMCS billing system.

Brand 1 - Est. Annual Income: $206,290.49
Brand 2 - Est. Annual Income: $11,347.89
Brand 3 - Est. Annual Income: $5,704.36

The web hosting business assets are for sale not the PTY LTD entities, office equipment or any domain name holdings except those used in the operation of the web hosting businesses. The server assets are to be included in the sale of Brand 1. Brand 2 owns 1 Dell server for a customers dedicated server but leases a reseller account from Brand 1 and pays colo fees to Brand 1.

Its my desire to leave the web hosting industry and have a more off line life moving forward. Its not my desire to come back after a non-compete clause has expired.

Do you run Windows or Linux servers or a combination?

Currently run Windows and Linux for Brand 1 (cPanel and PLesk), cPanel brand 2 and 3. Brand 2 has 1 x Windows client but that's it.

We may be interested depending on technical/migratory requirements.

I should note, I'm looking at around $350-450k+ for Brand 1.

With the high marketing costs in current customer acquisitions, this is a bargain for any company with access to capital.

Also I've got some interest in Brand 2 & 3. I should note that I can't provide a non-complete cause until Brand 1 is sold.

I would however refuse ever hosting accounts or customers from Brand 2 and 3, while I find a buyer for Brand 1 or some other agreement to safe guard any buyers while the other brands are pending.

I want buyers to be happy as I want out of the industry.

I'm expressing my interest in these.

So in a nutshell your just selling the clients?

How much would you be looking for Brand 2 or 3? or both?

So you are looking at 2 years revenue?? Does brand 1's revenue include fees paid by the other brands as you indicated ie. are they inflated by internal sales?
