1. Yes it can and the client would not know about any changes being made as it will slipstream into your current setup.

2. The email volume is email received from outbound connections to the gateway servers.

How does this work? My guess is that:

1. we pay for the domains we want filtered,
2. set the MX records to your servers,
3. and sit back and watch less spam come in?

Is that correct? Would be nice to know as an easy setup is a good thing!

Email volume is outgoing messages right, not incoming?

Email is based on volume received. Spam is not counted in the volume being received.

Sending email is not restricted. As people can use there own mail server to send out if they wish to,
