I have recently had one of my clients approach me regarding their existing website design.
As such, they have requested a facelift of their website to give it a much more corporate feel without going over the top.
As a result of this and our current workload we are seeking to outsource the developer for this website project.
Unfortunately the clients budget is not very good. They currently have an approximate budget of $3-$5k and do not wish to spend a great deal more.
In saying that, please find some basic information below.
The developer needs to consider the following:
• Be able commit to a project such as this and in a suitable timeframe.
• Working with us on a basis where we outsource you to carry out the development and invoice us instead of the client
• Re-develop their website within their budget while maintaining their requirements
To clarify their requirements further:
• Corporate feel/image
• Maintain colour scheme of their organisation
• Enable a CMS system for the regular updates to a few limited sections of their site – an entire CMS is not required
• Easy to use/navigate without too much overdoing of the images/graphics of their site.
To explain a little more about the client:
• The client is an indoor go-kart centre with an approximate site size/build of 30 pages. This size does not need to be maintained and can be reduced in page numbers if it helps to meet their budget requirements.
• The client has a low budget and does not wish to be spending $10k on a website
• The client will require to make regular updates and changes to their website in respect of:
o Competition Ladder
o Championship Draw
o Ladies competition ladder
o Photo Gallery
The clients website hosting and domain management will be provided by our company so this is not required as part of the project.
We can provide a little more information upon request, however, at this time, the clients existing website details will not be supplied to respect the clients privacy.
Some of the essential requirements for this project are:
• Evidence of previous website development
• The final site design is to be of a nature that would be considered for tourism awards as this client is going to be submitted their website information as part of their nomination submission
• Proof of trading history - we do not wish to deal with one of developers who simple obtain the clients information and use it unlawfully.
• Must sign an NDA
The client is aware of the idea of this project being outsourced. There is prospects of this project being placed into tender by our organisation upon the clients request.
