Re: WHMCS and Syra/AustDomains

I know Aust Domains had some issues with their API last year, so maybe they have not fixed them yet. From the error message it looks like it could be an API issue. You should contact Aust Domains and see what they say.

Everytime I try to view a Syra domain in WHMCS, the blank screen appears. I have to go into the database and manually edit the domain record to remove the syra module before it will come back... any ideas?
This is due to Soap not being installed.

What's weird is that the member is being created in the syra area and being given a member id. Still, this doesnt work. Starting to pull hair out now.

Matt hasn't responded via emails/twitter/pm's. Think this is dead in the water.

Version 1.02 will be out shortly. It has a fix for the registration bug, transfers have been added and saving of contact details has been added. Along with a variety of other tweaks and minor bug fixes. I will upload after I have tested it alittle bit more.

Re: WHMCS and Syra/AustDomains

I have recently installed WHMCS that is a great billing system and being an existing Aust Domains reseller wanted to know if there was some sort of Integration. So I sent an email to both Matt of WHMCS who said that they could write an API for a nominal cost then mooted the idea with Patrick of Austdomains suggesting that they should pay for it but he came back to me and said that they were writing one and would let all resellers know when it was released officially. Whilst Matlib's work is most appreciated Austdomains would want to write their own or at least test someone else's before allowing it to talk to their system for errors etc. Anyway Austdomains have told me that they cannot give an exact date when it will be released but I have responded asking them to be more accurate if at all possible because I need to integrate something now, not in 3 months time. I shall keep this forum informed when I hear something back.

ok looks like Aust Domains will have their WHMCS API ready in 4-6 weeks as a rough guide. meanwhile i am using matlib's version and am having a few issues. Although I have added all the relevant info i'm getting this error message when trying to transfer a domain. There appears to be no field for domain password so not sure where that goes.

An Error Occurred
RegistrantContactIdentifier - RegistrantContactIdentifier is invalid
Eligibility - BusinessType is invalid
Eligibility - BusinessName is required
Eligibility - BusinessNumberType is invalid
Eligibility - BusinessNumber is required

If anyone is using this successfully with Aust Domains can could you please let me know what goes where.

Re: WHMCS and Syra/AustDomains

Hi Guys,

Has there been an update to this module?

I just want to make sure it is running 100% before we install it.

Thanks

Re: WHMCS and Syra/AustDomains

Just wanted to provide an update for everyone.

I got some feedback from AustDomains today, and they said:
Quote:
Unfortunately development on the module has been pushed back and is now scheduled to begin next month.
So it seems they haven't actually started work on it, and it will be some time before they even begin.

In the mean time; matlib, do you have any updates on your awesome WHMCS module?

Re: WHMCS and Syra/AustDomains

matlib & cjensen: Would either of you consider placing the existing code on GitHub? That way we could all contribute together and/or fork the project if someone runs out of time.
