Hi all with the release of our Micron21 website just around the corner to the public (Aug1 2008) I thought id give Web Hosting Talk Australia member access to our co location facilities prior to the launch of our website, as we are getting increased enquires daily for our facilities.
For those who don’t know us Micron21 Pty Ltd is a newly established Datacentre in the outer east side of Melbourne, privately funded, we own our building, our fiber links, our IP address and all equipment which runs our Datacentre. We buy bandwidth from both network providers and data wholesalers and run a BGP multi homed network for our clients. In short our infrastructure is here to stay for a very long time. Currently we are located within an existing business owned by the RA Group and our primary goal and business plan allows us to grow to a new location to support 100’s racks in the near future, this can only be done with the help of course by our customers who we consider should always be always be number one.
We have spent the last 2 years deploying our network which went live in January 2008 Over the last 2 months we ran live test clients within our facilities testing our services. This gave us a fantastic opportunity for us ensure our service is of the highest standard to meet the most needy client.
Now down to our Co location package, it’s quite simple.
$50 per RU of rack space, each client receives the following as standard features.

- 99.9% SLA If utilizing our data, we guarantee 99.9% network uptime to your equipment.

- Free remote hands on server access for reboots and basic hardware diagnostics (During business hours)
- Mon-Sat 9am - 6pm – FREE Access
- Individual Server Monitoring via– SNMP Traps on server health - Notifications via Email and SMS
- Multiple Redundant UPS Systems
- No minimum term or contact
- Online Bandwidth statistics
- The first 2 months of RU rental space is FREE (Until further notice)
- Zero setup or installation costs for standard installs

We also have Paid incoming – Free out going data prices and or Direct cross connects and peering with the following providers AAPT, Agile Communications, Escape, NextGen, Optus, Pipe IX, Telstra, Uecomm on mbit levels, please contact us for more information.

Micron21 - No Contract Agreement unless required
Micon21 Pty Ltd believes our services and support are second to none and strongly believe if a client is not happy in the first month then they will never be happy. ….. So why lock them into a contract… Any Micron21 Pty Ltd client (excluding those taking hardware leases) are free to leave our services at any given time, no strings attached. That being said I’m sure our services and support will delight anyone who entrusts their IT services with us forming a life long business relationship.
