Hi Guys

I have just transferred a few accounts from a server in us to a server here and one of my clients has told me that in their joomla install they have a shop.

In this shop none of the pictures are showing unless you click all the way through the product.

Apparently on their front page they have a shout box thing that has lost its border as well. It still works fine but it isnt the same without the border apparently.

Does anyone kno what the heck may have happened? I have no idea about Joomla or even if thats the problem.

It may be that the account has just moved from PHP4 to PHP5?

apparently there is no "broken links" or "image placemarks" or anything where the pics should be, they just arent showing and they assure me it isnt a setting in it?

Any help?

Joomla might be using the GD library in PHP to generate/display the images. Check your PHP info to see if the GD library is installed on the new server.

can we get a bit more info even a link to the site. What version of Joomla! are they running? Joomla falls into two main categories 1.0x and 1.5x
I think the latest version of 1.0x is 1.0.16

Recently (early 2008 ish?) Joomla underwent a major upgrade to 1.5. If they are running a shop then there's a few in Joomla but Virtue Mart is the popular one. So see if you can work out a version for that is as well. There's extensive forum's for Joomla and VirtueMart.
