Hi guys,
I've got a client who needs an application that can do offsite backups.
I've got the network all setup for them, and now just trying to figure out what is best to maybe do FTP backups to their offsite server.
They are mainly backing up archived files, documents. e-mails (.pst format).
Any recommendations?

SyncBack free version does this fine.
As does rsync

I use rsnyc quite a lot. If you can have a look at rsnapshot as well. I don't know if it's available for windows.
On linux it allows you to keep multiple versions of a backup at different times/dates all while minimising the actual disk spaced used.

OK great - thanks guys. I'm going to have a look into SyncBack, does anyone know if you can setup schedules for backups? Also, can you install this on normal workstations to backup documents and have them viewable for future reference? Much like mapping a storage drive?

I guess also, maybe even setting up terminal services or citrix would be a better overall option.

Cobian Backup can perform backups to FTP and it's free.
Either that or BackAssist can also do it also, although it is not free but well worth it when it comes to exchange backups

Yeah - well, let's put a poll up to impose a new rule so that way any posts older than say 3 months (for example) automatically close and can't be replied too. Not sure what sort of time mods would impose on it.

And a limit to the number of posts someone can make when they are newish. Perhaps one post per hour if they have under 25 posts.
