Shopping cart that supports multiple images?
|
|
Hello,
I have a client who requires a shopping cart, that supports multiple images for each product.
I've had experience with oscommerce before, but it only supports one image per item.
Can anybody suggest a cart that supports multiple images?

talk to James from www.ecommercetemplates.com.au his cart has a multiple images mod that works extremely well. the cart is also a lot more flexible than oscommerce in terms of page design etc - its my first choice for carts.

I've used ZenCart and there is a module that allows for multiple images per product which can be downloaded from: http://www.zen-cart.com/modules/mydownloads
So far I've found it to be very good and easy to customize

This software supports multiple images : http://www.smartwin.com.au/cyberbuild.htm
The demo layout may look very plain but it has a lot of powerful features. Support has always been great too. I have been using this software and it is quite easy to design and give nice interface for it. And, it is likely oscommerce have add-ons for multiple image too.
Here is one with the customised mouseover effect:

What about ezimerchant - you can add a thumnail and large image as well as unlimited images in the brief and detailed product descriptions which are HTML - so you can insert tables and images etc. Virtually unlimited.

G'day,
CubeCart supports multiple images, and is very easy to install and use.
Cheers,

I think most of the newer carts will allow images in product descriptions - which makes multiple images a possability.

I've been working with the new shopping cart Magento and apart from supporting multiple images it has heaps of other features built into the standard release that most other shopping carts offer as extra/optional modules/hacks. So far I'm very happy with it and the client I installed it for and am helping set it up is over the moon with it's ease of use & understanding. It is very user friendly and most 'normal' people would have no problems working with it.
