Has anyone here developed their domain site using TPP's API at all? I realise that we can use the Domain Shop setup, but it's not very customisable, therefore ugly to integrate in to my existing site. I'd like to know how easy/hard/expensive it was to use the API, and perhaps see an example of it in use!

Yes their is an API. Contact TPP for details.

The API is missing some details when I looked at it last.

We looked into developing one, but find that its easier to just use the one in WHMCS.

There should be some documentation on the reseller site about developing your own interface using their API.

Do you get all basic functionality through whmcs? Automatic registration, renewals etc?

If it works as well as the Distribute IT one then it will.

API's in 'open environments' are easily abused. I dare say they might not want to promote it too heavily until they've got some work done to make it more reliable (not that I'd know anything about TPP).

The TPP API annoys me sometimes. If a client puts spaces in their ABN/ACN entry when the order is submitted TPP instantly declines it, whereas other APIs seem to adapt to this and either remove the spaces or accept it as it is...

Ask Matt from WHMCS to put a space stripping regex into the module then for ABN
