Can anyone recommend a web directory script that has the options of free and paid subscriptions. The only ones I have found so far are bid directory scripts which isn't what I'm looking for. I'm wanting a script that is configurable for set amounts so a business can subscribe and list their details as a free listing or a premium listing.

I highly recommend PHPLD (PHP Link Directory)
I ran a links directory for several years and this was the best I came across

Mostly due the amount of mods and addons available, and you can customise just about anything




...and yes it does have the ability to offer paid featured listings

Agreed that is the best Directory script at the moment and there are heaps of different addons available for it.

Only problem is because there are so many PHPLD sites out there you may just get mixed in with the crowd.

Thanks for your respsonse Design King, my target is purely Australian businesses so I'm aiming that this will be a factor in setting it apart from the rest
