AussieHQ to offer Sydney services?
|
|
Pipes site, and recent Whirlpool comment pretty much gives it away - http://pipenetworks.com/Peering/who.shtml , http://www.as24557.net.au/peering/
Be interesting to see what happens with existing Canberra services.

Yep, and as I said on Whirlpool, Sydney was a good starting guess...
Canberra is staying as is. Its a network expansion not relocation.

Maybe more RTDS going in to Syd that are coming "real soon now", as was mentioned the other week.
Thing I find funny, Global Switch is full from what I've heard..

Michael, you're back!
<joke>
I thought with all those mean IM's you were sending people (where's mine?) you would be too busy to figure out a new product line.
</joke>
Have a good one.

I'm curious, what ever happened to "Canberra being the best place geographically because it's between Sydney and Melbourne"?
I hope you've got an ace up your sleeve to compete in the Sydney market, it's very competitive on all levels of service.

Cheyne, it's the best place cause that's where the companies offices are. Oh wait, that doesn't sound like such a great sales pitch now does it?

I was in there last week and i dont believe it is full. In fact i found its quite up and down each time i go in there. One minute there is no room, the next time half a room is empty.

Maybe people are upping and moving?
I myself have only been in there twice when I was down that way, and it seemed quite average - had some space in some rooms, and had none in others.
