I am after recommendations on 'cheaper' web hosting companies that offer an alliance program.

To provide a little background, I am a relatively new web developer and I want to offer my clients a range of web hosting alternatives. I currently use MelbourneIT and I think they offer a great service but they are on the more expensive side. I'm after a web host that is a bit cheaper (in the range of $10 - $12 per month for a business start-up package).

By alliance program, I mean a web host that pays commission to web developers for bringing clients to them. I'm not interested in reselling, rebranding, etc.

A number of providers on this forums can offer you what you need, but unfortunately, none of them can make a post with an offer to you from here as you've posted in a General Discussion area.

I have requested a moderator move this to the requests area, however, in the meantime, you are welcome to contact any of the members of this forum about your needs.

With that in mind, if your not using or utilising anything except an alliance with a provider, they may not do business as many providers won't pay out cash commissions to providers due to Australian tax laws, unless of course you invoice them for the commissions, in which case, some providers may make an exception.

It's probably best that you contact a few providers and see what they say about their programs (if available) and work from there
