This is the reason I went with Panthur. I was considering between Crucial and Panthur when I moved my reseller account.
I want to speak with support that is based in Australia not to be put offshore to a call centre or to deal with offshore online chat support, or worse for the hosting provider business to shut down over weekends or holidays. If I wanted that I'd probably host my Aussie accounts with Hostnine still.
There has been a small hiccup with uptime because of a hardware issue with Panthur since I signed with them, it was a few hours, but you know what they posted the whole process so that I could do the same as a reseller. I have solicitors and ecommerce sites on my books so it was great to be able to relay the progress to these customers who literally run of their sites.
I look at support and reliable service and then I consider what I get for my dollar. I like the package I am with at Panthur, I can buy cheaper, off shore tho, but I feel that I can not get better service for my dollar. I need to factor what my hourly rate is worth and having Panthur support is cheap in my opinion.
