Help and be care of this company!

Hi,

Let me tell my story first.

i bought this one

Dell PowerEdge 2850 - 2x2.8GHz/8GB RAM/6x146GB/Rails - eBay, Dell, Servers, Computers. (end time 01-Mar-09 20:25:12 AEDST)

for this seller. I am NOT the bid winner.

And this user ask me to pay via paypal. because he wants save ebay listed fee.

i pay it in March-24, after payment, the user is total gone and not response with any enquiry.

I already submit dispute to paypal. even so , no response from seller,
I also report this user to ebay, they are investigate this user as well.
i will update the status for paypal dispute and ebay as well if i get.

I also sent MANY email to seller, inlcuding their companys all email emails listed in their website.
ALL no response.

Anybody, get any idea, how i can get my money back?

thanks in advance.

me too.

this is also one of reason I post it in this forum.

Delivery from australia to my place only need 2-4 days.

even submited dispute in paypay, they also dont repose it in paypal.

anyway, both paypal and ebay are investigating it .

there are more stories about this before i make payment for this 1300AUD.

no matter whatever reason, NO response or NO delivery is NOT acceptable.

Re: Help and be care of this company!

Hi ctoto,

Thanks for your post on WHT-AU in regards to the sale that was made outside of eBay late last month (March 09).

Please remember that your original request was for the IBM xSeries server and once this had been sent, you placed a dispute to PayPal after ONLY 18 hours of the server being sent and you claim "we haven't received the server" - how is a server meant to go from Perth to Singapore within 18 hours? *sigh*

You then request that we have the IBM server returned (read: courier costs for this at our expense) as you would now like the Dell server. This is after numerous emails from myself asking "Are you sure? Is this your final decision?". We even discounted the Dell below what it was originally advertised for on eBay.

As you are well aware, I've been very sick in the past week (personal problems) and only just returned to the office this morning, I've now returned your 1 (one) email to our sales email address requesting an update.

I've sent you the reason for my delayed response and with the updated details you require.

In future, I would recommend that you call Toll (you were informed via email of the courier details) for a status update before posting on WHT.

I hope you have a great day and I look forward to your response.

Warm Regards,
Matthew Byrne

Re: Help and be care of this company!

if you like to discuss with that "18 hours" , and if you agree, i can copy and post the whole communicate in that dispute. As I explain MANY times in that dispute. After payment, i sent more than 5 emails for enquiry, NONE of them were not reonpse. then i submited that dispute in 18 hours. I can understand there maybe some delay for delivery, but please be responsible and respose other's enquiry.
I intend not to talk about that IBM server issue. if you want to talk more, i would suggest, copy and paste the whole communicate in that dispute save time for both side.

for this server, you just replied email today. i am sorry to hear that you got sick for past 5 days, the payment date is March -24, and you said you would deliver it in March 25 afternoon that time. After that reply, no reponse for any enquiry.
From March 25 until now, 16 Days. i dont think make a appointment to deliver the goods is so different and need so many time.

Also, you ask me to call courier TOLL. However, you don't give me Anything by now, do you think i can call them to check?. Also your words also imply you haven't deliver the server yet at CURRENT Moment.

Best regards,

Sorry... you sent more than 5 emails within 18 hours asking questions about it? Impatient much?

It sounds as if there are problems with the emails getting through given that OzPacific only seem to have received one.

No wonder there are issues. Perhaps a phone call or an MSN conversation or something more immediate would help sort out any misunderstandings. Dragging it out like this on a public forum is going to take longer to resolve things and perhaps result in extra aggravation for you both.

Have you checked your email? Matthew quite clearly stated that the courier details had been emailed to you. Either he is telling fibs, or the email hasn't reached you. So it definitely seems like there are some communication issues - at both ends.

The tone of your posts comes across as quite aggressive (perhaps not intentionally) but my best suggestion (not taking sides here) is that you take a deep breath, and perhaps one party might like to pick up the phone or jump on MSN and have a conversation about it to sort out any misunderstandings.

Re: Help and be care of this company!

Hi ctoto,

I don't believe that copying and pasting a PayPal dispute conversation into this forum would be beneficial for both parties nor would it really be of any interest to the public.

I request that you respond to my reply email from last night or my MSN message before taking it any further on WHT.

Kind Regards,
Matthew Byrne

Re: Help and be care of this company!

I prefer to reply here directly.

mainly two points in your email

1. you was ill for past 5 days and just returned.
--Nothing to comment this .

2. your original words "I will chase down the courier tracking number for you in the next 24-48 hours. If you were so desperate, you know the courier we use (Toll) and could have called them for a status update before taking it this far."
--Also nothing to comment this.

Simply, nothing i need to say/reply for your email, instead just waiting further emails from you.

Also at current moment, we dont think you can reply email on time as well. email to you just like stone drops into sea.

Re: Help and be care of this company!

To Bendwed,

Yes, i agree "I am a bit angry, not in good mood" for this matter.

Firstly, i dont know how you can conclude "Have you checked your email? Matthew quite clearly stated that the courier details had been emailed to you. Either he is telling fibs, or the email hasn't reached you. So it definitely seems like there are some communication issues - at both ends."

1. By NOW. no detail about delivery was sent by him.
Also i check emails every hours.
2. definitely i wont miss ANY emails unless it was filter out by mail servers. also in payment date 23/24 March, he replied my two email normally and in first paypal dispute, he also reply paypal dispute fast. do think their mail server got problem suddently?
3. Do not mentioned about MSN or phone call, you can try to call phone number in their website. people cannot reply email in time, do you think they have time to chat.
yes, i can see he is online in MSN sometimes, first time , i checked with him about delivery status is "28/03/2009 1:49:09 PM " , he replied in "28/03/2009 8:28:49 PM " said "Give me a moent" ,then that communication end.
Last time i checked with him in MSN is "04/04/2009 4:00:14 PM", no response.

if i sell you a product, but no response and no update for 16 days, will you be able to be patient as well?
During this 16 days since March 24, i sent 8-10 emails to ask for update. ALL no response. also the number of emails are not that large number as you thought.

Last email he replied me is this morning mail as he mentioned in the post. this email replied the mail i sent in "Monday, April 06, 2009 9:04 PM" .In this case, I don't think their mail server lost the emails i sent.

Anyway, thanks for your time.

have a nice day.

Re: Help and be care of this company!

IMHO there is no point trying to slander a respected australian provider on a forum. Im not even envolved and im finding your posts incoherent and hard to follow.

It seams you have already lodge a dispute with paypal/ebay so just let that go through the motions.

There is a saying "Lets not air our dirty laundry in public"

Re: Help and be care of this company!

one of main reasons, i post it in this forum . Becuase i know this user is in forum and
I hope this post can let he to be responsible.

Also I also want a "clean air in public", but It is not practical.

the purpose of the forum is for people's communication, feedback and shares knowledge/experience.

Also i dont think I say anything in a bad manner By now.

thanks,

You have joined on this forum with the purpose of prevoking this host/supplier. You have not followed the correct procedures, wether it be ebay fault resolution or making an effort to make contact with the supplier by methods other than email.
Every business has its contact methods.
Your comment about the phone call i find hard to believe.
People are more likly to answer a phone.

I havn't got the time of day to have an incoherent arguement, i was just saying my bit and moving on.

The lesson that we can all learn here is using the proper communication methods (Phone, Email, Msn at the least) to acheive a DIRECT CHANNEL (not via forum) will resolve this issue alot better and everyone will be alot happier.

Im sure if the buyer hand't lodged disputes etc (18 hours after sale) (meaning paypal pulls the funds) it would be humming nicly in his rack by now.

Now i got work to do :P
