Red face VoiceMail service - Where is the best place to advertise for FREE
    Hi Everyone,

Can someone shed some light. Can anyone suggest the best place to advertise my VoiceMail service for FREE, I am starting up so low to cost to free is really a good option. And I am targeting Australia and NZ market?

My VoiceMail service is very straight forward. I provide local phone number to clients where they can forward their calls during out of the office hours then my telephony system will forward their voicemail to their emails for easier access. At the same time I will provide hosting for their VoiceMails where they can keep a number of voicemails and will accessible anywhere with internet.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi

Do you have a website? You can spread the word through social media and take help of your friends to spread the word regarding your service.

I actually do. But I am not from AU or NZ so my friends are not on my targeted market.

Can you suggest any particular AU social media sites to post my service?

    Hi

What is your company website? If you are looking for FREE there are not much options. As I said earlier take the help of social media, Use facebook , Google+ etc to promote your website and services. Use emails to market your services.

This is my site voicemail . rocks

Social networking sites might be a big challenge because non of my friends are really on my targeted market. Email marketing is also so spammy.

Does anyone have a cheap paid alternative?

    Thanks

Google ad words is not a BAD option. Its not a cheap option as such but can help. Unfortunately, i would suggest local advertising but since you are not based in Australia when your target market is, that makes that option difficult.

Also, after trying to load your website, it took significant time to load. This would be a issue for your clients.

    Hi Joel,

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I will check Google ads or other cheaper option.

Start of with Local Citations online according to your target market. And Yes your website takes a bit time to load.

    Hi Garry,

Thank you for the suggestion. Yah, our site is currently hosted from a server located in Texas and I am expecting to move it near AU in the near future.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Welcome to the forums. I'm not sure if you could advertise it here, as it isn't really web hosting. But it sounds like a great idea!

What is the website? Post it here for us to have a look at. Are you offering complete hosted PBX as well? I think there would be a demand for a hosted PBX with easy to manage web interface at a good price. Also something with an app for iphone etc to recieve/make calls via the vOIP PBX would be handy for a lot of customers.

    Good luck in your venture.

Facebook are pushing businesses towards using their paid options for advertising.
They have been since at least 2012, so to get any decent traction from your Facebook campaigns you need to spend money with them.
You should be using Australian hosting for both the site and the servers you use for voip, it will reduce laytency significantly for Au audiences.
Plus the use of a CDN would help in that regard as well.
I would suggest getting some consulting done before continuing as the business idea does not really sound that unique.

I also vote for Google Adwords. It is great way for advertisement
