Review my site

Looking for some feedback on the design for my new website:

http://www.estyles.com.au/newsite/index.html

None of the links work and the text isn't final yet, I'm more just looking for feedback on the general design.

Thanks

Re: Review my site

not sure if its my browser or its not complete or what.. but i think it would be good if the dropdown menus were the same color (grey) as the menu bar itself.

does that make sense?

I'll ask my designer to take a look at that.

Hmm strange, I don't get that problem in Firefox, I'll check it out.

Anyone else? No design criticisms or anything?

Need to strip out all the relative and absolute positioning and start again - it's ruined in IE too.

Re: Review my site

I quite like the site's overall design AndrewK, but would like to point out some minor flaws (probably with the CSS)

When I hover over the "My Accounts" menu item in your header, the "Virtual Private Servers" menu item visibly moves to the right I would suggest changing the spacing on your "My Accounts" menu item.

When I hover over any of the buttons on your site, they vanish (their background changes to the same colour as the design's background appearing as though they are disappearing)

With your header image,
http://www.estyles.com.au/newsite/im..._example_3.jpg
I would suggest changing the first letters of each point to a capital.
E.G;
New Website, Better Plans, Great Service.

I would even consider changing the wording slightly to something like this;
New Website, Value Packed Plans and Fantastic Service.

Anyway, it is up to you what you would do, but I believe that it makes a better impression using wording to emphasis what you are saying. Great Service??? Only Great? Why not Fantastic? Ecstatic? Unbelievable? Unbeatable?

That's my feedback, aside from that, job well done!

slightly off topic.. but what happens if you say unbeatable and someone, somehow beats your level of service.
do you have to change it?
unbeatable becomes unbeatable by most except for such and such

If you provide poor service or are not focused on service, how would you advertise your hosting and what closure would you offer potential customers?

If you provide poor service then you shouldn't be a website host.

Either that Blue has to go or that Green has to go.
They don't look well with each other
